Blogathon 2018 Schedule

Well, although we’ve been fairly inactive here over the last year or so, we’ve decided to dust off our keyboards and honor Scott Pruett’s final race by coming back for Blogathon 2018.

Although we likely will not be able to record a preview podcast, our 24+ hours of coverage will include some past favorites, including our Pick ‘Em Challenge, where the three of us pick winners for many of the events taking place over the weekend.

Our Mario Kart game will also return this year. We'll be starting at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, which is an hour before racing coverage goes off of FS2, and we will play until 11:00. We will also be screening and live-blogging during a bad sports movie again. This year, we’ve chosen “My Dad’s a Soccer Mom,” which is available to stream on Netflix. We'll be pressing "play" on Netflix at 11:30 p.m., so feel free to watch along with us and comment on the live-blog post.

In addition to the Rolex 24, the Australian Open finals, and X Games coverage, the college basketball schedule once again features the Big 12/SEC Challenge, so there will be a bunch of great basketball games to watch throughout Blogathon.

And for something new this year, the NFL Pro Bowl will actually be kicking off just before the Rolex 24 ends.
