2009 MLB Preview: Toronto Blue Jays

Toronto Blue Jays

IF (2.5/5) - Overbay's good. Rolen's good for, what? 100 games? The rest of this IF is average at best, including the DH options (Snider or Lind). Maybe Michael Barrett will remember how to hit and can take over at catcher.

OF (3/5) - I like Wells and Rios, though the OPS isn't as high as you'd like it to be. Whoever doesn't DH out of Snider and Lind will be in LF. Not much depth.

SP (2.5/5) - Halladay is awesome. Litsch is good. Purcey and Janssen have potential. Looks like Matt Clement may get the #5 spot. Richmond and Maroth have a shot as well.

RP (3.5/5) - Ryan, Downs, League, and Carlson can all throw. Frasor's strikeouts were down while his walks were up. A couple of spots will be filled after the rotation is settled.

Wildcards: Clement, Barrett

[Disclaimer: I do not claim to be an expert on your team. I think it's fun to do this stuff before a season starts and then see how close (or how far off) I was. If you spend time from your day insulting us, telling others to insult us, or posting in a blog or messageboard about how wrong our opinions are, then we are flattered!]
